KiXSTAr born Michael Stockley was an American Rainbow Six Siege caster and former player. During Pro League Year 1 Season 3, he became a member of the official Pro League casting crew.
He started his career at Rainbow Six Siege in 2016 at the age of 19. Prior to taking up the role as a commentator, he had won the NA Pro Leagues in his first season as a gamer.

His death was announced on October 13, 2021. However, he passed on a few days prior on October 11, 2021, due to a car accident. He passed away in a vehicle collision, according to The East Bay Times. His mother Carol said, “On Monday, October 11 Michael ‘KiXSTAr’ Stockley passed away unexpectedly. He had so much planned for the future, and he was looking forward to working with so many of you. Michael worked hard to lift up the R6 Siege community, and in turn, so many of you lifted him up as well. We are grateful for the love and support that we have experienced from so many of you. Keep it going, pay it forward, and keep lifting each other up.”
As per The East Bay Times, California Highway Patrol officers received reports of an accident at Pinehurst and Redwood roads in Unincorporated Alameda County on Monday, October 11th at 9:23 pm. Upon arriving at the location, they found an “overturned 2020 BMW 330i with the driver trapped behind the wheel.” Oakland firefighters, who responded to the scene, pronounced him dead, the report further claims. Alameda County Sheriff’s Coroner’s officials identified the car crash victim as Michael on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Esports commentator Parker Mackay took to Twitter to share the statement issued by Michael’s family following his tragic death in a car crash. “On Monday, October 11 Michael “KiXSTAr” Stockley passed away unexpectedly. He had so much planned for the future, and he was looking forward to working with so many of you, “ the statement read.
“Michael worked hard to list up the R6 Siege community, and in turn, so many of you listed him up as well. We are grateful for the love and support that we have experienced from so many of you. Keep it going, pay it forward, and keep lifting each other up.”
The late streamer’s family also said that they were “fortunate” to have spent the last 20 months with him as he had been traveling the world for a long time before he returned home due to the pandemic situation.
His fans took to Twitter to mourn his loss and paid tribute to the late streamer. One wrote, “Rip KiXSTAr. Your name will forever be remembered in the R6 community”
Another wrote, “R.I.P. Michael Stockley a.k.a. Kixstar #kixstar You were a solid one. Genuinely makes me upset to get this news.”
