Christopher Robinson is a poet, novelist, and author and the husband of Amanda Knox who is an American author, activist, and journalist. She spent almost four years in an Italian prison following her conviction for the 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher, a fellow exchange student who shared her apartment in Perugia. In 2015, Knox was definitively acquitted by the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation.
He has been a finalist for the Ruth Lilly Fellowship, the Colorado Prize for Poetry, and the Yale Younger Poets Prize. In 2015 he teamed up with best friend and Baghdad veteran Gavin Kovite to launch the debut novel War Of The Encyclopaedists. The book follows friends Halifax Corderoy (an academic) and Mickey Montauk (a military man) as their lives diverge after graduating. Corderoy moves to Boston to study literature while Montauk heads to Baghdad as part of the National Guard. Despite their different paths, they stay united by updating a shared Wikipedia page.
Robinson and Kovite published a second novel, Deliver Us, in 2018 which takes the reader to near-future Detroit as a black social-media activist leads a campaign against Amazon, “whose new fleet of delivery drones offers rebirth to the blighted city while threatening to magnify existing racial inequalities”.
His trademark is his beard, which is shaved into vertical stripes. Christopher got his undergraduate degree from Boston University and has an MFA from Hunter College. He is also a MacDowell Colony fellow.

The pair dated for three years and announced their engagement in a video posted on social media filmed at their home in Seattle.
