David Goodchild is an Australian project manager and senior development manager from Queensland. He was a contestant in season 7 of Australian Survivor: Blood V Water. He was voted out as the 17th contestant on day 42. Goodchild was a castaway from Australian Survivor: Blood v Water. As a Project Manager at a construction firm, he knows himself to be very strategic. He believes in getting the lay of the land, being flexible, and making tough ruthless calls when need be.
Survivor is his daughter Briana’s dream, but one David is more than happy to follow saying: “I’ve been vortexed into this dream and I’m pumped. We’re gonna smash it because our relationship together is strong. We’re both ambitious, both fierce.” Both David and his daughter Briana got into the show to contest. His daughter was however voted out and eliminated in the challenge on the fifth day in Feb February 2022. When asked what food he will miss most as he joins the show he said, ” Good hearty red wine and aged soft cheese, coffee, and almond croissants. Indulgence missed – massage, hot shower, face, and body scrub.” He also said that people will not expect that he will be a ruthless contestant since he is a good guy who hates disloyalty and losing. He is the oldest contestant to compete on Blood v Water.
