Gamble Breaux is a Sydney-born musician who is also a reality television star. She is a jack of all trades and aspiring entrepreneur, having begun a wide array of creative projects and business ideas over the years. She is a self-published singer/songwriter, having released an EP and eight singles since relaunching her music career in 2018 on The Real Housewives Of Melbourne. She will appear as a contestant in Celebrity Apprentice 2022. Each celebrity will be vying to win money for a charity of their choice.
With a passion for painting, she not only creates her own masterpieces but also works part-time as a contemporary art consultant in both Melbourne and Sydney. On top of this, Gamble has also designed her very own handbag line. She spent most of the year planning her beautiful Byron Bay wedding.
According to her website, she began singing before she could speak. Her mother would place her in front of the stereo when she started work at home. Her record collection acted as a babysitter whilst she plugged away on her IBM in her busy home office of typesetters and commercial artists. From dawn till dusk she would sing and dance along to the works of Joan Sutherland and other artists in her vast collection of mixed genres of music. Her first songwriting influence was Suzi Quatro. Suzi Quatro’s Greatest Hits was the first album she ever bought. I had no idea what was on it. She simply loved the cover art of a woman screaming into a microphone. It was nothing like anything she had listened to before. She then became hooked.
Later, her interest shifted to ABBA, their film clips, and costumes. She admired and loved the sweetness of Olivia Newton-John and the hardness of AC/DC and the Sex Pistols. She had very little knowledge of the origin of Pop, Rap, Jazz, and Rock & Roll starting out. After a crash course on American Blues, she began performing with a bunch of young musicians. Her first publishing deal was when she was 18 years old.
