Erin Jayne Plummer was an Australian presenter. She became known for hosting the talk show Studio 10. The presenter also hosted the instructional exercise series, Aerobics Oz Style for six years. It aired from 1982 to 2005 and had a very broad audience at its peak. She was also famous for hosting advertorials on daytime television, where she promoted new gadgets, clothes, and home appliances among many others. Earlier on before venturing into broadcast, she was a swimmer who represented Australia in surf life-saving and synchronized swimming whereby she won 11 national titles.
She became famous after she was cast in a tourism campaign aired on NBC in the United States after being scouted at Sydney’s Manly Beach. She proceeded to deliver advertorial content on Aussie TV for more than two decades – working at MTV, The Morning Show, and Totally Active TV.

Her death was announced by her Studio 10 co-hosts Sarah Harris and Angela Bishop on Monday, May 23, 2022. “We’ve got some really sad news to share this morning,” Sarah began. “Over the weekend, Studio 10 lost a bit of its sparkle with our friend and advertorial host Erin Jayne passing away suddenly.“For two decades, Erin Jayne’s been a friendly and familiar face on Australian telly and for a lot of that, she’s been brightening up our mornings with her bubbly personality and mega-watt smile.”
“EJ my darling friend, my heart is broken into pieces, 20 years with you in my life was not enough. I will forever miss your boundless energy, effervescent personality, and the incredible light you brought into everyone’s lives,” she wrote. “You were the most incredible friend — always putting everyone else first. You were an amazing mother whose love for her girls was boundless.“I’m beyond heartbroken that I will never get the chance to hug you again and tell you how special you are. “Fly high and free my beautiful mermaid.” A friend of the deceased wrote.
