Andrew Le Page is a real estate agent based in Dubai but originally from Guernsey. He is a contestant in season eight of Love Island UK. The show debuts on Monday, June 6, 2022, with eleven contestants who will be staying at a villa in Mallorca. The real estate agent revealed he had cosmetic surgery on his chest two months ago which prevented him from exercising for six weeks.
While Andrew did not divulge the exact medical procedure he had, he told Metro.co.uk: ‘I didn’t need to have it, I wanted to have it.’ Additionally, he said that the surgery was something he had been considering for a while and would have got at some point regardless of Love Island.

On his reasons for entering the villa, Andrew stated that it’s a matter of fortunate timing: he’s “actually single for once” after his last relationship ended when he emigrated to the United Arab Emirates. “I moved to Dubai and she stayed in Guernsey but fair play to her, she’s doing her own thing which is really good,” he explained. “It just wasn’t going to work so we decided to go our separate ways.”
According to him, his family and friends see him as “someone quite cheeky, confident, a bit silly, doesn’t take life too seriously and who’s going to have a laugh with it.” He says that he enjoys dating, but “definitely [prefers] being in a relationship.” When he wants to impress someone, he says: “I’d just go up to them, chat, be confident, and just get to know them, and then they get to know me. I can just approach a girl and chat to them.”
He would be willing to step on toes in the villa–but it depends on the situation. Andrew says: “If they’re actually in a relationship, I’d go for someone else. If they’re just starting, I will see what I can do. If I get turned down, I get turned down. I’d just move on.”
Personality is important to him, who says, “I like someone that I can vibe with, get along with, go on a night out with, and who’s not going to cause arguments. If you cause arguments, I just can’t be bothered – I’ve had that too many times.” He might fall in love in the villa, as he says, “If I like someone I’m all for them, so I do fall quite quickly,” however, he also says, “but I’m quite picky so it depends. “I’ve got to really like you and then straight away I’m all yours.”
