Jennifer Dorow is an American Circuit judge in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. She is the judge overseeing the trial of Darrell Brooks in relation to the Waukesha Christmas parade attack. She has allowed Brooks to represent himself in his case whereby his actions led to the demise of six people including children and 62 people were left injured. Brooks is being charged for crashing his car into the parade of Waukesha City, Milwaukee on November 21, 2021. He was charged with 77 counts, including six counts of first-degree murder in the attack.
Dorow attended Marquette University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. She proceeded for her J.D. from Regent University. The judge has earlier on worked as a prosecutor as well as a defense attorney. She serves as a chief judge for District Three which is made up of Waukesha, Washington, Dodge, Jefferson, and Ozaukee in Wisconsin as stated in the Wisconsin Court System.
Dorow has been a judge in Waukesha since 2012. Her appointment took place in December 2011 and was presided over by Republican Governor Scott Walker. Her swearing-in was in 2012, a year she also got re-elected. Her term is expected to expire in 2024. Prior to her tenure as a judge, she had served as a prosecutor.

Prior to that, he was the C.E O and president of a security company based in Waukesha. Other roles he has also been formerly assigned are being the deputy assistant secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington D.C., dean of the Criminal Justice, Homeland Security and County Terrorism program at Waukesha County Technical College, and a police supervisor at the City of Waukesha Police Department.
Brian is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Jennifer Dorow is a Christian. Upon her appointment to the bench by Republican Governor Scott Walker, she reiterated the importance of prayer. She was quoted saying after her appointment,
“I am thankful that through the years, many of you in this room have prayed for me diligently. Please, continue to do so. I am reminded of a verse from Micah, ‘He has shown you, oh man, what is good. What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.’”
At the time that she was sworn in, several judges praised her for her ability to understand people as well as understand the law and be able to merge the two aspects.
