Spankie Jackzon is a New Zealand Drag performer, host, entertainer, singer, and media personality and a contestant on the eighth celebrity edition of Celebrity Treasure Island. She previously won Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under in 2022, as well as the second season of the New Zealand series House of Drag in 2020.
Her career in drag performance began in 2005. She relocated to Melbourne in 2010 whereby she hosted club residences.
In 2020, Jackzon joined the second season of the New Zealand television series House of Drag as an “intruder” contestant in the fourth episode. She won the competition, beating Elektra Shock in the finale.
In 2022, Jackzon was announced as one of 10 queens to compete on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, and after winning three main challenges, she won the season, with Hannah Conda and Kween Kong as runners-up.
One of the hosts of House of Drag, Kita Mean, who previously won the first season of Rupaul’s Drag Race Down Under, presented Jackzon with her crown and sceptre during the finale episode of the second season, marking the second time that Mean crowned Jackzon on television (House of Drag and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under).

Spankie Jackzon is one of 18 contestants on the New Zealand Reality Show Celebrity Treasure Island 2024. Some of the other contestants in the show include;Janaye Henry, Carmel Sepuloni,Wairangi Koopu, Michelle Langstone, Gaby Solomona and Duncan Garner.
In an interview at the onset of CTI, she said:
“I’m that person who likes to push people’s expectations of me every time, and I will always give you the unexpected.”
Inspirational quote: Kick it in the dick. “I’m a positive person, but I still have those moments of self doubt. You have to talk to that voice inside of you and remind yourself, that actually, I’m good at what I’m doing.”
Best skill: Athleticism. “I was swim champion in high school. Super tall, athletic, I’m great with flexibility as well. But I think I’m probably going to end up as camp mother, to be honest, because I am that person.”
What role do you think you’ll take on in camp?
Oh, I think I’m just going to be camp full stop. Like, I mean, I think I could be a secret leader. The thing is, I ran a childcare and I’m also super-fair. I ran a team of about 10 people, plus I work in clubs and stuff, so I work with teams all the time.
What do you think your greatest strength will be?
I was swim champ at school, I’m super-flexible, I’m super-tall and I can also cook!
