Alanna Sarabia (Alanna Sarabia Reyes) is an American journalist, television host, and producer. She is the afternoon and evening traffic news anchor for TEGNA a role she took up in November 2021. Prior to that while still in TEGNA, she served as the co-host and producer of Good Morning Texas from May 2016 to March 2021. Sarabia relocated to Dallas in May 2016 when she joined WFAA. She served as the co-host of Good Morning Texas with Jane McGarry until 2021. She announced that she is leaving WFAA to return to San Antonio and focus more on herself. In a video posted on Instagram, Sarabia shared the news that she leaving for San Antonio. “I have some breaking news for everyone. Oh, this is going to be a lot harder than I thought. After almost 5 years of hosting Good Morning Texas, I’m headed home to San Antonio and I’ll be leaving the show at the end of the month. I’m so sorry I thought I was going to be a lot stronger than this. Being back in Dallas, near my hometown, and working for the show I grew up watching is a dream, and I still feel that way, though something wasn’t balanced. I realized that I have been confusing what “I do,” with who “I am.” That left me unfulfilled,” the TV host told MySA. What I thought was the definition of happiness was, lo and behold, very off. My work was my worth, and that just shouldn’t be.”
She was the host of San Antonio Living on the local NBC affiliate. She was also an entertainment reporter and the face of CW 35. Somewhere in-between she won Miss San Antonio and danced for the San Antonio Spurs as a Silver Dancer. She left her fun activities and focused on her time co-hosting San Antonio Living on the local NBC affiliate, and being the face of CW 35, as the “CW Insider.”
She graduated from South Grand Prairie High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media from Texas State University, and kicked off her television career in San Antonio.

During her free time, she likes collecting memories and experiences through travel. She has made visits to Mexico, Spain, Italy, and Cuba.
