She hails from Orange, California, and has been working in the media house since September 2018. After she wrapped up her high school studies, she went to study at the Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She went ahead to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Film and Media Production. She later undertook her studies at Mississippi State University and obtained a degree in Broadcast Meteorology. Her passion for weather forecasting started while she was wrapping up her journalism degree at Arizona State University.
While in her last semester at Arizona State University, she worked as a weather forecast for Cronkite News, an Emmy-award-winning nightly newscast fully operated by students. With the knowledge she had acquired by herself concerning weather, she was lucky to get her first job on-air at WPDE in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After a period of two years in the Southeast, she went back out west to ABC30 in Fresno, California. There she became the weekday morning and midday weather anchor. As she worked full-time, she undertook her studies online at Mississippi State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience.
