Byron Gomez is an American Executive Chef at 7908 Aspen’s magnificent supper club. According to his bio in Bravo.com, he states that he hails from Aspen, Colorado. He was a contestant in the 18th season of the Top Chef reality television cooking show that aires on Bravo television. The show debuted on April 1, 2021, and was shot in Portland, Oregon. He was competing alongside other 14 contestants (chefs) from different regions in the United States. His passion for cookery began at the age of 15.
He went ahead for training and got opportunities to work in reputable restaurants in the Manhattan area. He was mentored by brilliant chefs in the industry such as Gavin Kaysen, Ronny Emborg, Daniel Boulud, and Daniel Humm. He does not have any formal training in the cooking industry but has put his best foot forward by learning by himself and managed to work in kitchens of well-known restaurants like Café Boulud, Eleven Madison Park, Michelin, and Atera. Later on, being with the Eleven Madison Park crew he traveled with them to their chain of restaurants in Aspen and Hamptons and at last made a decision to stay in the Rocky Mountains. Besides cooking, he loves outdoor seasonal activities such as surfing, cycling, and snowboarding.
