David Haffenreffer is an American former financial anchor for CNN and also worked for CNNfn. He made a change in his career from being a media personality to being a real estate agent based in Connecticut, with a specialization in technology. He is currently a real estate broker. He is known for his news reporting for the CNN morning television program, Ahead of the Curve. He is also known as the ex-husband of famous television personality Lara Spencer.
The former journalist has worked as a financial news anchor and reporter for various prestigious channels like CNN, ABC, CBS, and Bloomberg. He has contributed sixteen years to television and radio news. The now real estate broker later shifted from news reporting to the property business. He has been a Brokerage manager for more than twenty years now. He began his career in broadcasting and production immediately after finishing school. One of the first opportunities he worked on was as a video field producer for the GTE Corporation. Later on, he moved to television networks, serving as a director as well as a news anchor for WSUB-AM. He got hired by CNN in 2000. He attended The Pomfret School and later St. Lawrence University.
