Jacque Jovic (born Jacque Smith) is an Emmy award-winning journalist working as an anchor for NBC 6 News (KTAL TV). She joined the NBC 6 News Team in October 2012. She is the co-anchor of the 5:00, 6:00, and 10:00 p.m. weekday newscasts with her husband Dan Jovic.
After graduating from college, her career took off in Columbus, Ohio where she got a job to work as a producer. She then worked as a reporter and anchor in Evansville, Indiana. She was also a reporter and anchor at KDKA-TV Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1995 to 2000. Among the other stations, she worked at are WKYC-TV, and WJW-TV Fox 8 in Cleveland, Ohio according to her LinkedIn profile. While working in KTAL TV, Shreveport, she has reported from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, moderated Louisiana Gubernatorial debates, U.S. Senate debates, and a Shreveport Mayoral debate.
