Jacquie Roar is a country music singer and wedding DJ. She is a member of a country music band based in North Plains, Oregon. Roar appears as a contestant on the 24th season of The Voice.
Her first solo single debuted in June 2023 dubbed “Fire on the Mountain.” Says Jacquie: “They sing about broken hearts, I sing about avenging them.”
Speaking with Goathead Records, she revealed that her music is largely inspired by Fleetwood Mac and the sounds of the 1970s, mixed with modern emotion. “The biggest challenge for me is that I sometimes go too deep and get too dark.”
She has fronted a band called Lace + Thorn that released six singles between 2019 and 2022. The most popular on Spotify is “Medicine Man,” released in 2022.
