Jillian Mele born Jillian Bridget Mele is an American news anchor and reporter who serves as a co-host on Fox and Friends First, based in New York City from 2017. She announced her departure from the news outlet in October 2021. Earlier on, she worked as a grocery store clerk in high school. She graduated in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in arts and communication from La Salle University in Philadelphia. When she was done with schooling, she took the position of a sports anchor in Presque Isle, Maine, and the WIVT-TV in Binghamton, New York. She went ahead to join NBC 10 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2007, where she earned an Emmy award for her work on a show about the Olympics. In 2014, she took on a position with NBC Sports Philadelphia where she co-hosted a morning sports talk show known as Breakfast on Broad and she went ahead to get another Emmy and a Philadelphia Eagles post-game program called Endgame. She took a position at Fox News in March 2017, and she works as co-anchor of Fox and Friends First and as headlines reporter for Fox and Friends.
She was a ballerina for about 15 years. At one time, she worked as a cashier at O’Neill’s Food Market in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She was surprised that her old uniform could still fit her when she went back to report for Fox and Friends to introduce herself to the viewers. With her exceptional journalism, she has managed to win two Emmy Awards. The first Emmy was accorded to her in 2014 while she was working at NBC10 for airing an Olympics special. The second award that she bagged was in 2016 while she was hosting breakfast on Board.
She studied communications for two years at the University of Scranton, before she graduated from La Salle University in May 2005 with a degree in arts and communication. She is pursuing an MBA at La Salle University.
