John Carasig is a chef and restauranteur. He is best known for being a contestant in series 7 of MasterChef Australia (2015) and he finished 12th in the competition. MasterChef Australia returned for its 14th season in 2022. He contested for the second time in the season but was eliminated on May 8, 2022, as the fourth contestant to leave the cooking show. The format was known as Fans & Favourites and features 12 new contestants and 12 former contestants. He came to the show as a returning contestant with the aim of being crowned the ultimate MasterChef winner. The season premiered on Monday, April 18, 2022.
