Jordan Schmidt is an Australian personal trainer, business owner and was a contestant in the Australian television reality series Australian Survivor: Blood V Water. The show is an Australian television series based on the international reality game show franchise Survivor, which premiered on January 31, 2022. In this season, based on the twenty-seventh and twenty-ninth American series and carrying the same sub-title, new and returning players and their loved ones will be competing against each other. The season was filmed in Charters Towers, Queensland, and it will be the third season filmed in Australia, second consecutively due to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on Australian borders which have been closed since March 2020. He was a castaway from Australian Survivor: Blood v Water. He was the 18th person to be voted out of the show on day 38 leaving his cousin Josh in the competition.
Jordan was playing with his cousin Josh and between the two, Jordan was the one who was diving headfirst. Although they are cousins, Jordan and Josh said their relationship is closer than most brothers. He was ready to push himself both physically and mentally as far as he can when he hits the mat, to see what he is truly made of. Before joining the show, in preparation, he bought a magnesium flint and learned the basics of fire starting plus some basic knot tying skills.
According to him, the experience in the show with his cousin would be a shared experience and one has got to be lucky to get on the show, let alone get with your cousin. He said, ” It’s all fun for us, we won’t take anything too seriously.”
