Jordie Hansen is an Australian landscaper from Victoria, Australia. He was a contestant and intended to win the Blood V Water Sole Survivor crown. He was returning to the show as he was previously cast in Australian Survivor in 2016. He was a castaway from Australian Survivor: Blood v Water until he was voted out on day 43 of the show. Jordie is the youngest man on the original Water tribe. The show is an Australian television series based on the international reality game show franchise Survivor, which premiered on January 31, 2022. In this season, based on the twenty-seventh and twenty-ninth American series and carrying the same sub-title, new and returning players and their loved ones will be competing against each other. The season was filmed in Charters Towers, Queensland, and it will be the third season filmed in Australia, second consecutively due to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on Australian borders which have been closed since March 2020.
Jesse has a tight bond with his older brother, Jordie who is playing alongside him and although the two claim to be polar opposites of each other, they are dedicated to becoming the perfect team. As a landscaper by trade, Jordie is used to digging holes and getting himself out of them. And despite the ease with which he makes friends, Jordie knows Survivor is about more than just being mates and is about understanding people on a deeper level. He said his favourite place in the world is a place on the west coast of South Australia on the Nullarbor which he can’t name because it’s a local secret! Beautiful location with good waves and fishing and lovely locals. Before the start of the show, he taught himself to make fire with flint as well as some physical training.
