Karen Hepp is an American journalist and the co-anchor of the 4 to 6 a.m. hours of “Good Day Philadelphia”. She is also part of a set as co-host for the final hour of the show from 9 to 10 a.m. She became part of the FOX 29 News team in November 2010 and has been serving in the station to date.
Before she joined FOX 29, she was an anchor at WNYW-TV in New York City, anchoring Good Day Wakeup. She joined Fox 5 in January 2005 as the weekend anchor. She previously worked for NBC-owned-and- operated stations for 8 years including WNBC in New York; WCAU in Philadelphia; and WVIT in Connecticut. Her career in the media started in Binghamton, New York, and Rochester, New York, United States.
She went to study at the Agnes Irwin School, a college preparatory day school in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and is originally from the Philadelphia area.
