Logan Johannisen is a contestant from Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn II Melbourne, Victoria.

The Survivor contestant is studying a Bachelor of Business with a major in marketing, hoping it will springboard a media career. She is also known for being an AFL WAG.

She grew up participating in family tournaments with her cousins, organised by her “really competitive” dad.According to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“We were in houses, and my dad had made custom cornhole boards with LED lights,” says Logan. “We did Amazing Race-style games where we had to go to find clues and do challenges. She added, We did ping pong, kayaking, foot races, puzzles, card-stacking and strategy games, and silly ones like using chopsticks to move a skittle to a bowl … My dad always told me that if I could use my manipulation powers for good, I could rule the world.”

She was initially a contestant on team Brains. Following the tribe swap, she formed part of team Brawn. She grew up watching the original US reality series, and applied unsuccessfully seven years ago.

The 27-year-old Melbourne resident contests alongside Zara Callianiotis, Richard “Rich” Hughes, Paul “PD” Dee, Paulie Michael, Nash Gendo, Myles Kuah, Morgan Mitchell, Max Wills, Ursula Rose, Laura Noonan, Laura Darras, Kristin Alston, Kate Gloufchis, Karin Gunatilake, Kaelan Lockhart, Jesse Noonan, Ben Bylett, Ally Kettle, and Alexander “AJ” Antonios.

“It was about fulfilling a dream,” she says. “But after going through the production side of everything, it’s opened up a window of possibility for me that has ignited a bit more passion in the entertainment industry.”

She also says the contrast between her mum life and WAG life are vastly different saying, “It’s insane. I’m unrecognisable from the WAG side. I’m probably in three-day old sweatpants and t-shirt. My hair is probably matted because I haven’t brushed it in days and probably got someone’s vomit on me.”

Logan says she wants to play the game as a smiling assassin and wants to be friends with everyone before stabbing them in the back.

“Being a part of the Brains tribe, I was hopeful that there wasn’t going to be any gender politics. But sometimes things naturally fall that way. And sometimes you do have men that don’t love a strong woman. So I think there are things that come into play in our season that some women are going to absolutely love and some men are going to hate. But I think it’s going to be really interesting to see how that unfolds.”

The 27-year-old contestant is the wife of former Western Bulldogs defender Jason Johannisen. They got married on October 21, 2023.

A Survivor fan, Logan’s husband played football for the Western Bulldogs which she admits makes her a WAG but wants to show the world she is more than that. She admits to have been with her husband since she was 20.
