Owen Knight is an American College Admissions Director from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a castaway from Survivor 43 and forms part of the Tribe named Baka. The season premiered on September 21, 2022, on CBS and Global. He was announced as one of 18 contestants alongside Gabler, Noelle Lambert, Geo Bustamante, and Cassidy Clark among several others. Filming took place in Fiji for an eleventh consecutive season. According to Davie Rickenbacker, Owen was at the casting finals for David vs. Goliath.
He attended Tulane University where he currently serves as a College Admissions Director at the office of undergraduate admissions.

He is a castaway in season 43 of Survivor. He is part of the Baka Tribe. In an interview before the onset of the show, he said his hobbies include backpacking, hiking, video games, and taking and coaching fitness classes. He also describes himself as Loyal, charismatic, and passionate. He has also expressed his pet peeves as people who are entitled and people who don’t know what to do at a four-way stop.
The accomplishment he is most proud of is becoming an admission director at a college. To be named director at his alma mater reminds him that the grind has been worth it and that people have noticed how dedicated and genuinely invested he is in his work. Owen is an excellent public orator/speaker and uses his people skills at work. He went on to say that Asian men have certain unfair stereotypes associated with them, and he does not fit that mold. He played football in high school, was rush chair for his fraternity, and can entertain a room of 800 people. He uses his EQ more than his IQ on an average day.
He regards his parents as his heroes since they are kind, fun, hard-working, and dedicated to one another. They’re more active and social than he is. They adopted him as a child and have been the best parents he could ever have supporting him in every step he takes in life. He expressed that he wishes to make them proud. He would like to play his game most like Adam Klein. This is because Klein kept his threat game low, had good relationships with everyone, and was an authentic and superfan self.
He believes he can be the sole Survivor because he says he is a triple threat. He regards himself as socially likable and has a genuine interest in people. He is greatly invested in people. Owen also regards himself as physically athletic which is a big asset in the game. Being a superfan of Survivor, he has studied the game and knows what works and what doesn’t. He is also self-aware and knows that he needs to play his own game and go with the flow as the game develops.
