Pete Campbell is an Australian tattoo artist and coffee shop owner in Australia. He is also a contestant and a grand finalist in season 13 of MasterChef Australia. When the results came out on July 13, 2021, he emerged as the first runner-up and won $30 000. According to his bio on 10play.com he began cooking in 2015 after he quit his corporate job of 10 years. With his wife, he took a massive leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles with a two-year-old daughter and another baby on the way. After quitting his job, Pete sought a more laid-back and creative way to make a living, opening a coffee shop and retraining as a tattoo artist. He even tattooed his hands to make sure he never ended up back at a desk job he hated.
His love for food continued to develop when he and his wife travelled across Europe, Asia, and the USA in 2013, the pair made a point of eating at fine-dining restaurants in each city.
