Sami Malek is a qualified American teacher and the younger identical twin brother of actor Rami Malek, who was born 4 minutes earlier. Rami has since gone on to become an award-winning actor, his brother Sami opted to stay out of the limelight of being an actor and instead chose to pursue a career in education.
According to his bio on the academy’s website, Sami double majored in American Literature & Culture and African-American Studies in college. He then started his teaching career through Teach for America – a non-profit organization to “grow the movement for educational equity and excellence”.
But, that has not stopped the pair from teaming up – as Rami previously admitted that the pair would try to use their uncanny likeness to their advantage. During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in 2015, Rami explained how Sami needed extra credit to pass a class – and had to act out a monologue from a Greek tragedy in order to improve his grades.
