Sana Javed is a Pakistani actress. She makes appearances on Urdu television.
Javed completed school and college at the Pakistan International School in Jeddah before she moved to Lahore with her family and later graduated from the University of Karachi.
Javed’s career started as a young model and she appeared in television commercials. Her acting career started in 2012 when she got a supporting role in the series Mera Pehla Pyar and made a cameo appearance in Shehr-e-Zaat.
Her popularity grew in 2016 with her antagonistic role in the drama Zara Yaad Kar beside Zahid Ahmed and Yumna Zaidi.
Javed’s debut came in 2017 with the socio-comedy film Mehrunisa V Lub U opposite Danish Taimoor. She was signed for the lead role in Rangreza, alongside Bilal Ashraf, from which she quit for some reasons.
Subsequently, she garnered wide recognition and public appreciation for portraying a leading role as Khaani in the romantic drama Khaani. She received critical acclaim for her portrayal, of Sameera a rape survivor in Ruswai, and the Pakistani International Screen Award for Best Television Actress Critics.
In 2020, Javed was appointed the captain of the team Islamabad Dragons in the Jeeto Pakistan League, a Ramadan special reality show. She starred in Dunk as a university student who falsely accuses her professor of sexual harassment. The series received negative reviews for its subject and portrayal but her performance was praised.
