SpotemGottem born Nehemiah Lamar Harden is an American rapper and songwriter. He is best known for his 2020 hit single “Beat Box”, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The hit song resulted in a number of remixes, including one from DaBaby. He is signed to Geffen Records, Interscope Records, and Rebel Music.
In June 2017, he was arrested in Duval County, Florida, along with Chaddrick Daniels. The two were traveling in a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Sandlake Drive in the World Golf Village at 7:40 a.m. The rapper was charged with grand theft auto and carrying a concealed weapon.
On July 15, 2021, he was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm/accessory after the fact. On September 17, 2021, he was shot 5 times in Miami, Florida, from a road rage incident.

Rapper SpotemGottem was shot multiple times in a suspected road rage incident in South Florida on September 17, 2021, early Friday morning, authorities said. He was a passenger in a Dodge Charger when a confrontation took place around 3 a.m. on Interstate 95 in Miami, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said. The shooter fired at least 22 times, striking both Harden and the driver.
The rapper was struck in both of his legs while the unidentified driver sustained a gunshot wound to his hip, authorities said. Both were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
No one has been arrested and there was no immediate description of the shooter’s vehicle. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. Harden’s attorney reportedly described the attack as a drive-by shooting, not a road rage incident. A representative for the rapper could not immediately be reached for comment Friday afternoon.
