Aimee Carlson is the senior vice president for Fuzzy Door, a production company behind many of today’s successful film and television projects. She is the widow of Trevor Moore who was an American comedian, actor, writer, director, producer, and musician. He was known for being one of the founding members, alongside Sam Brown and Zach Cregger, of the New York City-based comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know (WKUK), who had their own sketch comedy series on IFC which ran for five seasons.
Animator Seth MacFarlane established fuzzy Door Productions in July 1998. The company’s productions include the animated series Family Guy, American Dad!, the Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show, the live-action sitcom The Winner, the science documentary series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, and the sci-fi comedy-drama series The Orville.
She is known for her work on Cloak & Dagger (2018), Warehouse 13: Grand Designs (2012), and The Drug Years (2006). Carlson obtained her bachelor’s degree in arts from Kenyon College.

Trevor Moore’s Death
On August 7, 2021, the 41-year-old comedian was found in the backyard of his Los Angeles home by his wife, Aimee Carlson. Following a 2.39 am 911 call from Carlson, paramedics arrived and were unable to resuscitate Moore. As reported by TMZ, Moore sustained head trauma, indicating a fall from the balcony above. Carlson released an emotional message on August 7 on behalf of her and the entire Moore family.
“We are devastated by the loss of my husband, best friend, and the father of our son. He was known as a writer and comedian to millions, and yet to us, he was simply the center of our whole world,” the statement read. They continued: “We don’t know how we’ll go on without him, but we’re thankful for the memories we do have that will stay with us forever. “We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone. “This is a tragic and sudden loss and we ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of grieving.” Moore’s manager first confirmed his tragic death to Deadline.
