Scott Ratcliff is a major in the Army Parachute Regiment. He is the husband of actress Kym Marsh an English actress, television presenter, and former singer-songwriter, who rose to fame in 2001 after winning a place in the band Hear’Say, as a result of appearing on the reality television series Popstars.
He trained at Sandhurst Military Academy. He has been in the elite 3 Para for almost ten years. He is also a tireless charity worker and once raised thousands for injured soldiers by completing the Great North Run in under two hours in full kit and a backpack weighing 40kg.

They got engaged in June 2021, while celebrating Kym’s birthday. Kym and Scott began dating in late 2018, following Kym’s split from Matt Baker in April 2018. They were introduced by a mutual pal and Kym’s Corrie co-star Antony Cotton. The pair first spoke on the phone because he was away working before meeting up in person.
Dave Cunliffe is the father of Kym’s children and the pair dated from 1994 to 1999 after meeting in a karaoke pub in her hometown.
