Her husband Mike died unexpectedly on October 28, 2021, when he was 74 years old. Lyndhurst police said he was taken from his home to a nearby hospital following a medical incident around noon on Thursday, October 28, 2021. His colleagues told 19 News he passed away within 30 minutes. His death was announced from the station. Trivisonno’s co-workers at WTAM are hosting an on-air tribute to him.
“Please grant us some grace as this is the most difficult show that we will ever do,” said Executive Producer Carmen Angelo.
His colleagues and fans paid tribute to him in various ways. “He was more than that person that would go and turn on the microphone and make you laugh because he was also that person that would teach you about life,” said Trivisonno’s coworker, Ratto.
He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008 and had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He repeatedly stated on air that he was vaccinated against COVID-19.
