Linda Hakeboom is a Dutch television presenter, director, and writer, known for NikkieTutorials: Layers of Me (2020), 3Doc: Who the Fuck Is Jett Rebel (2014), and Whatever Forever: Douwe Bob (2013). She went to study at the University of Applied Sciences for Journalism and Language and Culture Studies at the University of Utrecht. Upon completing her studies, she began presenting for Bright in 2007. In 2008 she went ahead to become a reporter for the VPRO program In de ban van het ding. From 2012 to date, she has been the presenter at the VARA television program Rambam. In 2015 she presented the documentary Linda Discovered… Sex and Escorts for TLC and an episode of Spuiten en Slikken op reis. In 2016, in BNNVARA’s Linda’s Mannen, she followed four young men to the fame and reputation behind Lil ‘Kleine, Giel de Winter, Timor Steffens, and Ricardo Kishna to learn. In 2017 she won the program The Big Escape.
Hakeboom has directed a number of television documentaries: Who the Fuck is Jett Rebel? about Jett Rebel, Whatever Forever about Douwe Bob, and The happy-sad route in which Jan Jaap van der Wal makes a journey through former Yugoslavia. In addition, she was featured in A good set of brains in 2018 and The Big Music Quiz in 2019. In 2021 her documentary about Nikkie de Jager appeared on YouTube. She worked on the documentary with her boyfriend who is her co-director. Hakeboom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and is vlogging about this. In her blog, she said that she had finished her chemotherapy however, new malignant cells had been detected again.
