Dorit Kemsley is an American fashion designer, television personality, and a cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She developed the swimwear line Beverly Beach and bridal collection Nektaria. She is a current cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
She is the wife of Paul Kemsley who is an English businessman. He is best known as a property developer, for recurring appearances on the American reality television show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and to sports fans as a former Vice-Chairman of Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur, and as Chairman of the revived New York Cosmos. After graduating college with a degree in marketing, design, and communication, she traveled throughout Europe and eventually settled in Italy where she spent the next 10 years working for a global swimwear company.

Kemsley was reportedly held at gunpoint at her home in Encino, Calif., in a home invasion on Wednesday. Her two children, Phoenix and Jagger, were home at the time of the break-in. A spokesman for the LAPD told Page Six that the robbery took place at Kemsley’s home at 10:50 p.m. PT Oct. 27 and involved three male suspects. An unknown amount of property was taken. No arrests have been made and cops would not confirm if Kemsley was actually held at gunpoint.
The intruders allegedly ransacked the house for 20 minutes before making off with jewelry and handbags. Once the robbers left, Kemsley called the police and her husband who was still in London. She is reportedly “traumatized” by the break-in, though her friends were by her side the next day to comfort her.
