Edward Grinnan is an author and editor-in-Chief and Vice President of Guideposts Publications, which includes the magazines’ Guideposts, Angels on Earth, Mysterious Ways, PLUS, The Joys of Christmas, and Mornings with Jesus. After a stint as a deckhand on Great Lakes ore boats, he was an artist-in-residence at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. He is the husband of the late Julee Cruise. She was an American singer, songwriter, actress, and musician, best known for her collaborations with composer Angelo Badalamenti and film director David Lynch in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She released four albums and collaborated with a variety of other artists. She passed on on June 9, 2022, at the age of 65. She died by suicide after battling depression and lupus as stated by her husband.

Rest in peace, my love.”
He told NPR that Cruise died by suicide, and had struggled with “lupus, depression and alcohol and drug addiction” in the past.
