Elizabeth Chambers is an American television host, journalist, and founder and CEO of Bird Bakery in Texas. She has been featured on The Food Network, and on The Cooking Channel Today. She has also been a cast in the series Criminal Minds, Shark, and a 2007 film titled The Game Plan portraying the character Kathryn.
Her first job on television was working as a correspondent at Current TV (Al Gore television network). In addition to that, she has also done news corresponding for Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, and E! News Now. She has also ventured into acting. She has been an actress in 2 Broke Girls, The Game Plan, Shark, and Criminal Minds. The University of Texas – Austin crowned her to be in the list of “Outstanding Alumni” in 2020. Besides being on the screens, she is also an entrepreneur. She founded Bird Bakery in 2012 in San Antonio and Dallas. She expanded to Texas in 2016. Her bakery focuses on baking recipes from her grandmother’s kitchen.
She was a guest judge in June 2019 on the Food Network’s “Best Baker in America,” and also on some episodes of Chopped Sweets in 2020. On a totally different path, she came up with Vision Visors that make masks for children. She has assisted with donating funds for San Antonio Food Bank. Through her efforts, er bakery also has partnered with Salood- a cancer non-profit organization whereby she assisted in coming up with a cookie for children battling cancer. After a day’s sales, the remaining food is usually collected and packed to be given to Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, fire and police departments, churches, local non-profits, and Fisher House Foundation. She went to study journalism at the University of Texas at Austin.
