Jamie Costa born James Edward Costa is an actor and producer, known for Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020), Robot Riot (2020), and Kenobi: A Star Wars Story (2019). He frequently produces and acts in commercials for the men’s grooming company known as Manscaped. He credits his acting coach Myra Turley for helping him develop into a working actor.
He also works as a director, writer, voice actor, filmmaker, comedian, and impressionist who is best known for the likeness of Robin Williams and the impressions of many characters.
Following graduating from North Greenville University (NGU), he moved to Los Angeles to further pursue a career in entertainment. In 2014, he became widely known for capturing the likeness and spirit of Robin Williams, who had died earlier that year, after uploading a video tribute titled “Never Had A Friend Like Him.” The video featured impressions of Williams’ many memorable characters.
In 2015, he was signed with William Morris Endeavor following a performance at an SNL showcase. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of work, including voice-over and acting in industrial, independent, and feature films.
He attended James Island Christian School before finishing high school. He then attended a military boarding school (Massanutten Military Academy) and graduated highest-ranking cadet in 2008. He later attended the LA Film Studies Center during the Fall of 2011. After briefly attending The Citadel, he transferred to North Greenville University. It was there where he realized his passion for performing and became involved in the theater program.
