Jayden Daniels is a New Zealand professional actor. He made his professional acting debut in 2015, as a lead character on the iconic primetime New Zealand drama Shortland Street. His portrayal of the much-loved character Curtis Hannah saw him make a welcome return to the series in 2017 and 2021.
Following his graduation, from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, Jayden appeared in the acclaimed web series End of Term, along with several lead roles in various stage shows including Romeo and Juliet and As You Like It. Other television credits include the first and second seasons of Netflix’s The Legend of Monkey, and more recently Head High (Season 1 and Season 2), where his performance earned him the Best Actor Award at the NZTV Awards.
He can be seen in the released Whina and is set to appear in the Feature Film Evil Dead Rise. In 2023, he appeared as a host on Celebrity Treasure Island: Fans v Faves with his co-host Bree Tomasel.
