Lucy Noland is an American television personality who previously worked as an anchor at KHOU11 News House in Houston, Texas for the 5 p.m and 10 p.m news. She worked as an anchor and reporter for KGO-TV in San Francisco. She is more a moderator than an anchor, more a ringmaster or director of events than a cog in a format. After completing graduation, her participation in the college radio station, KSUA-FM helped her earn a place as an intern in KATN, Fairbanks station, and was promoted to a reporter and news anchor. There, she filed reports for CNN and CBS Radio Network which marked the beginning of her journalism career. From 1997 to 2004, she worked at FOX 2 affiliate and from 2004 to 2007 she hosted Good Day New York.
After four years of working at KHOU 11, the news anchor joined NBC’S KNBC and later left. She landed herself a major position at WTXF, a FOX’s owned station. After serving five years as a weeknight evening anchor at Fox 29, she got replaced with Jason Martinez on June 17, 2019. She left the station on May 30, 2019. The former journalist, along with her business partners, has launched a publishing company. Archimedes’ Printing Shoppe now has nine books under its belt, all of which are about animals.
She graduated with a degree in Broadcasting from the University of Alaska. When she was in college, she was a DJ at KSUA. The KSUA was a college that was exclusively run by students. As a journalism student, she also produced newscasts for the station. Her work has earned her various EMMY, Golden Mike, Edward R. Murrow, and AP Broadcasters awards. However, her biggest reward has always been the ability to help people who need it through her work.
