Menzi Ngubane was an actor, businessman, voice-over artist, and motivational speaker of South African origin. He was majorly known for being a cast in the South African soap opera titled Generations as he portrayed the character Sibusiso Dlomo from 2003 to 2014. He died on March 13, 2021, at his home after suffering a stroke. He was also part of the cast of Isibaya a South African television drama series. He was acting as a taxi business manager with a shady past. Apart from that he also acted in a number of films and television shows in his country such as How to Steal 2 Million, Heist, Ashes to Ashes, Yizo Yizo and Gold Diggers. The film, How to Steal 2 Million, emerged best at the 2012 Best Picture African Movie Academy Awards.
In his career as an actor, he bagged and was also nominated for various television shows and film awards in South Africa including; Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor In Leading Role, and Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Soap. His health had deteriorated over the years since 2012 after suffering an organ failure and he underwent a kidney transplant in 2014. Over time, after his diagnosis, he had tried to clarify issues around kidney disease where e upheld effective lifestyle changes that enabled him to bear with the ailment.
