Monde Msimanga is a South African national and best known as the wife of a politician, Solly Msimanga. She works on various projects through NGOs and INGOs in South Africa. She also works hand in hand with her husband in a charity organization known as Make Somebody’s Christmas a Merry One that serves groceries daily to the less privileged families. Her career in projects began in 2004 through 2019. In the recent past, she has served as a Senior Programme Coordinator in the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development in South Africa. She undertook her studies at the Institute for Management of Information Systems and has a Diploma in Management Information Systems.
Her husband is a South African politician serving as the Leader of the Opposition in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since May 2019. He has been a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since February 2019, having previously served from 2014 to 2016. He was the Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality from 2016 to 2019 and the DA Provincial Chairperson from 2014 to 2017. He was the Democratic Alliance’s Gauteng Premier candidate for the 2019 elections.
