Morriah Young is an American teacher based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a castaway from Survivor 43. She entered the competition as part of the Baka tribe. However, she was the first person to be eliminated from the competition. She entered the season as a part of the Baka tribe. At camp, she was quick to bond with Elie Scott and Jeanine Zheng, seemingly forming a women’s alliance with them. Despite this, after Baka lost the first Immunity Challenge on Day 3, Elie was quick to offer up Morriah as the target of the vote, perceiving her as the physically weakest member of the tribe. Unaware of Elie’s plot against her, she tried to recruit Sami Layadi into voting with the women against Owen Knight. In the end, however, the entire tribe decided to follow Elie’s plan, unanimously eliminating her at the group’s first Tribal Council.
When she was asked which past Survivor she would play the game most (emulate), she answered James. She said, “Don’t bite the apple!” Stay true to your alliance as best you can, and stick it out to the end. On why she believes she would be the Sole Survivor. She responded, “There isn’t anything in the world that I cannot accomplish. My mindset has gotten me to the finish line of all my dreams. Plus, I’m super lovable and not an immediate threat.”
