Roberto Russo is an Italian filmmaker, cameraman, screenwriter, and director. He is known for his work on Flirt (1983), Francesca รจ mia (1986), and Secret Scandal (1990). He is best known as the husband of the late actress Monica Vitti who was an Italian actress best known for her starring roles in films directed by Michelangelo Antonioni during the early-to-mid 1960s. After working with Antonioni, she changed focus and started making comedies, working with director Mario Monicelli on many films.
