On May 18, 2020, she said on her Instagram story that her husband, a former star with the WWE, was missing. She went on to say that her husband was wearing swimming shorts when he was last seen at Marina Del Ray Beach in California. When her husband’s body was recovered, she took to Instagram to that the people that helped in the rescue mission.
On May 17, 2020, Gaspard and his son were among a group of swimmers who were caught in a strong rip current at Marina del Rey beach in Venice Beach, California. His son was pulled from the water while he vanished underwater. After searching him for quite some time through an area of 70 square nautical miles, the U.S Coast Guard suspended efforts to locate him. On May 20, 2020, his body was found washed ashore in Venice Beach, California, and was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. This was three days after he had gone missing. The Los Angeles Police Department later confirmed the body was his and said his family has been notified of his death.
