Skye Everly is an American author, designer and who previously worked as a talent executive with MTV. She is also the spouse of Mark Hoppus who is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and former television personality best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist of the rock band Blink-182, as well as part of pop-rock duo Simple Creatures with All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth. In 1992, Hoppus’s sister introduced him to Tom DeLonge, and together with drummer Scott Raynor, they formed the band Blink-182.
Skye met Mark during a rehearsal for the video of All The Small Things. She worked for MTV for nearly 10 years until she got married then she left. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University and started out as a television talent executive. She made a decision to switch careers and become a designer after motherhood. She later founded Childish Clothing, which sells kids’ clothes and maternity wear. She is also the author of the book Rock Star Momma, which addresses styling and fashion during pregnancy.

She got married to her husband, Mark Hoppus in 2000 and have been together for over 20 years. Mark said they actually met through former band member Tom DeLonge. In a past interview in 2004, he said: “Tom always used to embarrass me. Any girl he’d talk to, he’d say, ‘Hey, you wanna go on a date with Mark?’ “He asked Skye, my wife, who looked at me and said ‘No.’ That’s how it all started.”
In 2011, Mark and his family relocated to Mayfair, London, as blink-182 was in the process of completing their sixth album, Neighborhoods. They lived there for another three years before moving to Beverly Hills, California, in 2014.

Mark Hoppus Cancer
On June 23, 2021, Mark announced that he has been diagnosed with cancer. In a statement on Twitter, he said he had been undergoing chemotherapy for three months, and has “months of treatment ahead of me … It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this.”
His current and former bandmates voiced support for Hoppus, with DeLonge saying: “He is strong, and a super-human who is pushing through this difficult obstacle with a wide-open heart.”
