She is best known as the wife of the late American actor Peter Scolari who was an American actor, best known for his roles as Michael Harris on Newhart (1984–1990) and Henry Desmond in Bosom Buddies (1980–1982). He passed on on October 22, 2021, in New York City aged 66 after a two-year battle with Leukemia.
Shayne is best recognized for starring in the 2015 television series Blindspot, Law and Order, and Homeland. In addition to that, she is also a Broadway actress and has appeared in productions such as Bronx Bombers where she played opposite her husband as Berra’s wife. She has also been cast in Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, and A Chorus Line.
