Ada Nicodemou is a renowned Australian national and actress whose family originally hailed from Limassol. Her career on stage started at 16 in the year 1994 in Heartbreak High portraying the character Katerina Ioannou. After that, she also played in Breakers and Police Rescue.
She started acting in the soap opera Home and Away in the year 2000. She went on to compete and to be the winner of Dancing with the Stars season 3 alongside her then partner Aric Yegudkin and became the host of the 2012 Please Marry My Boy a television reality series.
She started as a child actor and became successful in her acting career. She is among the actors who have worked for a lengthy time in the show Home and Away. Besides that, she also featured as a cameo in one episode of the 2018 Drop Dead Weird. She has also been featured in various films and numerous television shows.
Her work in the acting industry has enabled her to be nominated for several awards including; the 2002 Logie Award for The Most Popular Actress in Home and Away and 2006 Most Popular Personality on Australian Television in the same television show.
As part of her charitable activities, she serves as an ambassador of PixiFoto Foundation from 2005. The foundation was set up in order to contribute, facilitate and sponsor prevention of Childhood Blindness, a program set up in Africa. She equally serves as an ambassador for Save our Sons. This is a foundation set up to assist National Breast Cancer Foundation and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. She also helps in the Starlight Children’s Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation Australia.
She went to school at The Grange Public School then proceeded to Johnny Young Talent School. At the latter, she was taught several activities such as dancing, acting, and even singing.
